The Tortoise And The Heir (LPS 1001 Animations)

Synopsis: "Blythe ponders her life's calling while a 150-year- old tortoise comes to the day camp."

After 8 months, we finally have new Littlest Pet Shop episodes again, and this episode is a good way to kick off the final season. Blythe isn't sure what she wants to do in life outside of fashion and talking to pets, but the pets accidentally think she won't talk to them anymore. A tortoise named Speedy comes to the pet shop, and it's discovered he had an owner who can talk to pets. I've always found Blythe to be a dynamic character, and she's still dynamic here since we've always wanted to figure out our life's purpose. We also get an amusing subplot with the pets trying to figure out how to get Blythe to like them again. I'm going to cut the chase, and say that it turns out Speedy is Blythe's mother's pet and be kept a journal that says she can talk to pets. Now that's a shocker. After a high speed chase, it all ties together into a nice double moral on how there's always someone to understand your behavior, and how you have all the time in the world to decide what you want to be. It's a good episode.
