Description
Writers: Bryan Schulz, Craig Schulz, Cornelius Uliano
Date: November 6, 2015
Synopsis: “Charlie tries to impress the Little Red Haired Girl.”
It's no secret that Charlie Brown specials are definitely well remembered with just about everyone, and this is a movie that can appeal to people both young and old. In this film, Charlie Brown wants to impress a he young red haired girl he has a crush on, but doesn't have the confidence to approach her. He then decides to try out various activities in order to impress her, but things don't turn out too well for him. Movies like this show why Charlie Brown is a great character. He's essentially the guy who never lets life let him down despite the fact he's constantly losing. As for his torture, it works here in that it's either through mistakes or accidents that he keeps losing, and not because of malice or stupidity. As for humor, it does get pretty funny in Charlie's plot with how he tries to impress her, but most of the humor is in the subplot with Snoopy trying to defeat the Red Baron. The best part of the movie is the moral on how being a good person can help you out, which works due to a clever set up. I call this a pretty good movie.
Here is the cast for the movie.
Troy Andrews as Miss Othmar and Mrs. Little Red Haired Girl (provided wah wah sounds for their characters)
Kristin Chenowith as Fifi
Rebecca Bloom as Marcie
Anastasia Bredikhina as Patty
Francesca Angelucci Capaldi as the Little Red-Haired Girl and Frieda

I know this is unrelated, but Nintendo & Illumination have recently announced that they're working on an animated Mario movie.
I'm crossing my fingers that Illumination's Mario movie takes the same route Blue Sky took with The Peanuts Movie.
